This workshop will introduce students to at least 10 different herbs growing in the region of zones 6-8.
This will be the foundation upon which the other two workshops build.
It includes an herb walk around the grounds, classroom time where students will work in their workbooks documenting their findings and answering questions. Hands on experiences where students
will learn to create their own tinctures and oils and teas.
There will be a 30 minute break around noon for those who would like to bring a sack lunch. Students will take home one of their own creations.
